Meta has announced a partnership with Midjourney to license the startup’s AI image and video generation technology. Meta Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang stated that this collaboration aims to integrate Midjourney's capabilities into future AI models and products. This move is part of Meta's broader strategy to enhance its offerings in the competitive AI landscape, which includes its own tools like Imagine and Movie Gen.

The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, but Midjourney remains independent and has not taken outside funding. This partnership follows ongoing legal challenges in the AI sector, including a lawsuit from Disney and Universal against Midjourney regarding the use of copyrighted materials in training data.

ElevenLabs has introduced a new feature called Chat Mode, enabling the creation of text-only conversational agents. This mode is designed for users who prefer typing, allowing for precise inputs such as order IDs and email addresses. It also facilitates the resolution of simple issues while offering seamless handoffs to voice agents for more complex tasks.

Chat Mode is an extension of ElevenLabs' existing Conversational Agent platform, aimed at enhancing user engagement by adapting to different communication preferences. The company claims these intelligent agents can automate tasks, resolve customer issues, and provide accurate answers tailored to specific workflows, all deployable at an enterprise scale. Organizations can implement a chat-based agent quickly using the provided SDKs, API, or by enabling Chat Mode on existing agents.

Meta has launched an AI-powered voice translation feature for creators on Facebook and Instagram, allowing content to be translated into multiple languages. Initially supporting English and Spanish, this feature aims to help creators reach a broader audience by translating their spoken content while maintaining the sound and tone of their original voice. The rollout follows a pilot announcement made at Meta’s Connect developer conference last year.

Creators with 1,000 or more followers on Facebook and all public Instagram accounts can access this feature, which includes an optional lip-sync capability to align translations with lip movements. Users can preview translations before publishing and receive insights on audience engagement by language. Meta plans to expand language support in the future, emphasizing its commitment to helping creators connect across cultural and linguistic barriers.

Adobe has introduced new AI-powered features to Acrobat Studio, enhancing its existing platform for productivity and creativity. The updates include the introduction of PDF Spaces, which transforms collections of files and websites into interactive knowledge hubs. Users can leverage customizable AI Assistants to extract insights, generate ideas, and create engaging content more efficiently.

The upgraded Acrobat Studio combines Adobe Express tools with advanced PDF functionalities, allowing users to create, edit, and share content seamlessly. This platform caters to a diverse range of users, from business professionals to students, and is available globally in English. Pricing starts at $24.99 per month for individuals and $29.99 for teams, with select features offered at no additional cost until September 1.

Odeeo has announced a partnership with AI studio Wondercraft to enhance multilingual in-game audio advertising. This collaboration aims to streamline the creation of studio-quality audio ads, allowing marketers to produce and localize content quickly, reducing timelines from weeks to minutes. The partnership also focuses on providing full-funnel measurement for audio ads, helping brands demonstrate return on investment (ROI) effectively.

Odeeo’s non-intrusive audio ads enable advertisers to reach players without disrupting gameplay, improving the overall gaming experience. With Wondercraft’s AI tools, brands can create personalized, localized audio ads that engage players in a more meaningful way. This initiative aligns with Odeeo’s recent efforts to enhance measurement capabilities in audio advertising, further positioning in-game audio as a valuable marketing channel..
