Google has introduced Doppl, a new experimental app that allows users to visualize how different outfits might look on them. Available on iOS and Android in the U.S., Doppl enables users to upload a full-body photo and try on various outfits using images or screenshots from thrift stores, friends, or social media.

The app generates an image of a virtual version of the user wearing the selected outfit and can also convert these images into AI-generated videos for a more realistic preview. Users can save their favorite looks, browse through virtual try-ons, and share their outfits with others. As a Google Labs experiment, Doppl is still in its early stages, and the company acknowledges that the fit and details may not always be accurate.

HeyGen announced HeyGen Video Agent, described as the world’s first Creative Operating System for video creation. This OS allows users to upload documents, footage, or even just a sentence, which the system then analyzes to find the story, write a script, select shots, and generate footage. It can also cast actors and handle editing tasks such as pacing, motion, and captions.

The HeyGen Video Agent is designed to transform ideas into compelling stories for various formats, including ads, TikToks, short films, and product demos. Unlike traditional tools, it operates as a creative agent that automates the entire process, ensuring polished results with natural voiceovers, carefully selected visuals, and optimized edits for clarity and impact.

ElevenLabs has introduced 11.ai, an alpha voice assistant designed to enhance productivity through voice-first interactions. Unlike traditional voice assistants that primarily answer questions, 11.ai can connect to various tools via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling it to take meaningful actions in users' daily workflows. Users can accomplish tasks such as planning their day, conducting customer research, and managing projects simply by speaking commands.

The platform supports integrations with services like Salesforce, Slack, and Notion, among others, allowing for seamless interaction across tools. During this alpha phase, users can sign up for free access to test the assistant and provide feedback on its capabilities and integrations. ElevenLabs aims to demonstrate the potential of voice-first AI assistants, showcasing a future where natural conversation leads to productive outcomes.

Creative Commons has announced the launch of CC Signals, a new project aimed at facilitating dataset sharing in the AI era. This framework allows dataset holders to specify how their content can be reused by machines, addressing the growing need for clarity in data usage for AI training. The initiative seeks to balance the open nature of the internet with the increasing demand for data.

As data extraction practices evolve, Creative Commons emphasizes the importance of maintaining openness to prevent entities from restricting access to their data. CC Signals aims to provide legal and technical solutions that foster ethical dataset sharing between data controllers and AI developers. The project is currently in its early stages, with initial designs available on the CC website and plans for an alpha launch in November 2025, alongside public feedback sessions.

McDonald’s has introduced Magic Stories, an AI-driven storytelling feature within its app, developed in collaboration with advertising agencies TBWA\Helsinki and TBWA\NEBOKO. The experience transforms every family visit—whether dining in or opting for delivery—into a personalized animated story. By leveraging generative technology, Magic Stories aims to strengthen connections with families, allowing them to revisit their unique narratives over time. Marketing Manager Malou Buné emphasized the brand’s commitment to family moments, making each customer interaction a part of a personal mythology with McDonald’s.

The project used a combination of large language models and custom-trained image generators to create engaging, personalized stories. The technical execution was managed by TBWA’s innovation practice, NEXT, led by Umberto Onza, Design Director at TBWA\Helsinki. Families unlock new chapters of their stories with each visit, collecting virtual items that enhance their narratives. The collaboration involved specialists across various fields to ensure a seamless integration of legal, creative, and technical elements, aiming to deliver high-quality, autonomous storytelling experiences.
