Adobe's new Content Authenticity web app allows creators to apply attribution and "do not train" tags to their work. This tool aims to protect artists by enabling them to easily opt out of AI training processes. It integrates with Adobe’s existing platforms and supports various media types, enhancing the visibility of creators' rights. The app is set to launch in public beta in Q1 2025.
Zoom is developing AI avatars that can send messages on behalf of users, enhancing remote communication. Creators can generate a digital likeness by recording a video, which the AI will use to deliver personalized messages. This feature, part of a broader AI expansion, is expected to launch next year as a paid add-on. Users without the add-on can still utilize preset AI avatars.
Adobe has integrated its Firefly AI video model into Premiere Pro, allowing users to generate videos from images and text prompts. The new tool, Generative Extend, enables creators to extend existing clips and make minor adjustments, while Text-to-Video allows for the creation of short video clips. This functionality is currently in beta, with Adobe focused on ensuring the tools are commercially safe. The AI model supports various styles and is designed to improve video creation efficiency.
Hailuo has introduced its Image-to-Video feature, allowing users to turn static images into dynamic videos, thereby enhancing its video generation capabilities. Previously focused solely on text-to-video, Hailuo now enables personalized outputs by combining text and image inputs. The platform supports various artistic styles, appealing to a range of creators. This expansion positions Hailuo to compete more effectively with established AI video generation services.

Indiana University Bloomington's "Blurring the Lines" exhibition examines the relationship between artificial intelligence and human creativity. The exhibition, part of the AI + Digital Futures initiative, showcases works that highlight both the challenges and potential of AI in art and culture. It features a diverse range of mediums, including interactive chatbots and AI-generated imagery.
Co-curators Linda Tien and Caleb Weintraub aim to foster conversations about AI's impact on creativity. The exhibition includes pieces that critique AI's biases, such as “Dark Matters,” which addresses gaps in data representation. Through this exploration, the exhibition encourages a broader understanding of how AI can enhance, rather than replace, human artistry, inviting dialogue about technology's role in contemporary society.
